13 January 2026, LONDONMogers Drewett, one of the Southwest’s leading legal and financial planning firms, has partnered with Sonder to enhance how the organisation supports the wellbeing, safety and resilience of its people.

Responding to evolving employee needs

As Mogers Drewett continued to grow, leaders recognised that the wellbeing landscape had shifted. Employees increasingly needed support that was accessible, holistic and able to respond to challenges before they escalated. Some traditional support services were slower or more reactive, which made it harder for people to seek help early. At the same time, rising healthcare costs were creating gaps in the support available to certain employees, particularly during periods of personal or family difficulty.

The firm also attracts highly driven and motivated individuals who take pride in delivering excellent work for their clients. While this creates a strong performance culture, it can also mean people are less likely to reach out for help at the first sign of a challenge. Managers frequently became the first point of contact when employees were struggling, yet many felt they needed additional tools and confidence to guide those conversations effectively.

These themes highlighted the need for a more proactive, integrated approach to wellbeing that would empower employees to access help quickly and offer managers the right resources to support their teams.

Speaking to our partnership, Sean McDonough, Managing Partner and Head of Department, Employment, said: “Just as we strive to deliver high-quality, accessible support, advice, and guidance to our clients, I’m proud that we’ve found a partner who can offer the same to our team.”

A holistic and culturally aligned solution

Sonder stood out as the partner best placed to meet these needs. Its proactive model, rooted in Te Whare Tapa Wha, brings together mental health, physical health, social wellbeing and safety into one connected experience. This holistic approach reflects Mogers Drewett’s commitment to seeing people as whole individuals, not isolated challenges.

The ability to access qualified professionals quickly was a crucial factor. Employees can reach the right support pathway when it matters most, whether they need mental health guidance, medical assistance or safety advice. This immediacy is particularly valuable for those working across different sites or managing the health of young families.

Equally important was cultural compatibility. Sonder’s people-first language and approach complement the firm’s emphasis on humanity, curiosity and growth, ensuring that support feels approachable rather than clinical or intimidating.

Ben Morris, Head of People and Performance, emphasised this further saying “Sonder’s foundation in Te Whare Tapa Wha aligns with our People Centred Performance approach – humanity, curiosity and supporting people to grow to meet life’s challenges. I’m excited for the partnership.”

Supporting a resilient and thriving workforce

The partnership marks an important step in Mogers Drewett’s continued investment in its people. By equipping employees with fast, holistic and culturally aligned support, the firm is strengthening its resilience and ensuring its teams feel empowered, safe and looked after.

Mothers Drewet joins a growing community of forward-thinking customers including Hays, Southeastern, Culture Amp, Rosa’s Thai, MSC, and McDonalds – to name a few.
