Team Safe is a safety module designed specifically for mobile, frontline and distributed teams.
It bridges the gap between personal safety and organisational oversight, giving managers appropriate, consent-based oversight of shifts and shared safety activities.
Built into the Sonder app your people already carry, Team Safe extends Sonder’s personal safety features with no extra hardware to manage.
That visibility is directly connected to Sonder’s 24/7 Support Centre and coordinated response capability.
Employees begin a defined shift in the Sonder app, sharing real-time location with a nominated manager or team member.
Location sharing is always opt-in and initiated by the employee, and ends automatically when the shift does.

Employees can set a one-off or recurring check-ins across a shift, or share a journey, creating structured moments where their safety is confirmed.
If a check-in is missed or something doesn’t go to plan, Sonder’s escalation process begins, bringing the nominated manager and Sonder’s 24/7 Support Centre into the workflow early.
Shared with me gives nominated managers a structured view of active shifts and shared safety activities, as a list or on a live map.
Managers see only what each employee chooses to share, for the duration they set — enabling earlier oversight while work is underway, rather than only after an incident is reported.

If a shift or safety activity escalates, Sonder’s 24/7 Support Centre initiates the response, works to confirm the employee’s safety and brings the nominated manager into the process.
Where required, this may extend to clinical guidance, safety response or emergency services.
Location sharing is always opt-in and initiated by the employee, and is only active during a defined shift or safety activity.
It is time-bound, transparent and contextual, with employees able to see exactly what is shared and when.
This means organisations gain the visibility needed to support their people, without compromising trust or privacy.

Team Safe can be activated for a specific team, division or workforce group — your field, frontline or lone-working roles — without a whole-of-organisation rollout.
