Employees begin a defined shift in the Sonder app, sharing real-time location with a nominated manager or team member.
Location sharing is always opt-in and initiated by the employee, and is only active during a defined shift.


Employees can set check-ins or share journeys, creating structured moments where their safety is confirmed.
If a check-in is missed or something doesn’t go to plan, the process escalates, bringing the right people into the workflow early.
